Privacy Policy
The short version. Right now this website only collects one thing: the email address you type into the waitlist form. We use it to tell you when Kiddotoon launches. We do not sell it, and we do not run ads or analytics on this site.
Who we are
This website, kiddotoon.me, is run by Kiddotoon Inc. ("Kiddotoon", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described below.
Contact for any privacy question: qrost@ukr.net
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and its waitlist only. The Kiddotoon app has not launched yet. When it does, it will have its own privacy policy and we will explain it clearly before anyone uses it. Kiddotoon accounts are planned for adults 18 and over. Parents will create and manage everything, and we will handle children's information in line with applicable law, including COPPA in the United States and the GDPR in Europe.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| The email address you submit in the waitlist form | To email you about the Kiddotoon launch and early access |
| Which form you used on the page (top or bottom) | To understand which part of the page works |
| Technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, that is processed automatically when you visit or submit the form | To deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent spam |
We do not ask for your name, your children's names, photos, or any information about your children on this website. Please do not send us that information through the form.
Our legal basis
For the waitlist, we rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting your email. For keeping the site working and secure, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawing does not affect anything we did before that.
Who handles your data for us
We do not sell your personal data. We use these providers to run the site:
- Formspree receives and stores waitlist submissions on our behalf.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and provides DNS and security services, and so processes visitors' technical data such as IP addresses.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts used on the page. Your browser connects to Google to load them, which means Google receives your IP address.
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our providers may use technical data or strictly necessary security cookies to protect and deliver the site.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe, or until we have finished contacting the waitlist about the launch, whichever comes first. If the product does not launch, we will delete the list.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct or delete it;
- stop using it, or withdraw your consent.
Just email us at the address above. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Slovakia, that is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk). If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have similar rights to know and delete, and we do not sell or share personal information.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age). If you believe a child has sent us their information, please email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell people on the waitlist by email.
